About The Cooks



Jesus is my Lord and my Saviour, for “whilst we were still sinners, Christ died for us” Romans 5:8. I am married to Soong. I serve at St Barney’s Fairfield. I write most things down. I love people, food, paperwork, fitness and having fun adventures with anyone and everyone. Occasionally I knit and watch old sitcoms.

My cupboard has been full of recipe books for years. I have enjoyed eating different foods and trying new dishes for as long as I can remember. I love living in South Western Sydney because so many cuisines are on offer, and I love eating around the world. And yet, there’s something about moving out of home, getting married, and being responsible for putting food on the table that sparks an interest in cooking.

I enjoy food with lots of flavour, I often add too much chilli to my own dishes, and I love cooking in large quantaties for large numbers of guests.
